On this special podcast we play an episode of The Comic Weekly Man that aired originally 68 years ago (August 27, 1950). This is a special Golden Age of Radio program where the Comic Weekly Man would read the Sunday comics in dramatic fashion, complete with music and sound effects as well. Radio actor Lon Clark voiced all the male parts. Little Miss Honey, a female assistant, voiced some of the female parts. Adults and children of all ages would tune in to hear the program. He read from such comic strips as Blondie, Beetle Bailey, Hi and Lois, and many, many others.
